Floyd Kettering
Treasurer/Founder
Floyd received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MSIA) from Purdue University, and holds a Certified Public Accountant diploma from Illinois. He served as a systems engineer for the Apollo Moon mission guidance systems. He has several years’ experience as a public accountant and management consultant for “Big 6” accounting firm Coopers and Lybrand, and as treasurer and board member for a not-for-profit national membership organization. His experience also includes managing a publishing house for 17 years. Floyd has authored and published material on management information systems and cost accounting. A member of the AICPA, he has been listed in “Who’s Who in Finance and Industry,” “Who’s Who Worldwide,” and has also received an award as “Citizen of the Week” from WBBM-Chicago. Floyd is currently employed full-time by the Theosophical Society in America as their Chief Financial Officer.
Cheryl McGarrity

Cheryl is an active speaker for HSP and has represented us at all levels to help bring in support, financial as well as in-kind gifts. A registered representative for the New York Stock Exchange, Cheryl is also a marketing professional for institutional clients (pensions, insurance companies). She is also a member of the Board of Review for the Boy Scouts of America (Village of Hinsdale). Cheryl is also past president of the Monroe Middle School PTO (Hinsdale).
Maureen Beal

CEO of National Van Lines, Inc., honored as the 23rd largest certified woman-owned business in the United States by DiversityBusiness.com. Crain’s Chicago Business named National Van Lines as the 8th largest woman-owned business in Chicago. Maureen also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Moving and Storage Association and is a Director of the Household Goods Carriers Bureau. As Immediate Past Chairman of the American Cancer Society Board of DuPage County (IL), she is an advocate for women’s health issues. She is the Chairman of the Board of Aspire, a Trustee of Benedictine University, and an Associate at Northwestern University. She also serves on the Board of Governors for the Executive Breakfast Club of Oak Brook. She is featured in Margaret Heffernan’s book on successful women and is recognized for her expertise in employee retention and sound business practices. Maureen regularly speaks at industry conventions and shares her approach to management as a conference speaker/panelist.
